Writing articles is probably one of the least used techniques to get traffic to a website, but one of the most powerful. If you are going to use this technique, it should be used correctly, and not done in a half-hearted manner.

Most people will write one or two articles and then stop. However, in order to take advantage of what articles can do for you, you must write many, articles, and promote them. If you haven't written at least 50 articles in one subject, then you haven't done enough.

You can either write the articles yourself, or get someone else to write the articles for you. One involves time and the other involves money (doesn't everything?)

The most important thing you must remember when writing articles, is that you should write something that people will find valueable. I have had my articles accepted at every place I have submitted them because they have had these 4 things:

1) The content was original and fresh
2) The content provided a new way of looking at something
3) The content solved a problem or provided a benefit to the reader
4) The content was well written (grammar, punctuation, etc.)

I can't stress this enough. If you put out good stuff, you will see the benefits down the road.
